Light Therapy

Red light therapy is a natural, non-invasive treatment that uses red and near-infrared light to stimulate healing at the cellular level. Red light therapy works by absorbing into the body's tissues and treating a range of skin and deep tissue conditions.

Our PlatinumLED red light panel is the top of the line and produces light within the therapeutic window between 630 and 660 nm for red light and between 810 and 850 nm for near-infrared light. Red light therapy can be used to treat skin conditions, such as chronic skin disorders and skin rejuvenation, as red wavelengths can absorb into skin tissue. Near-infrared light, with its longer wavelengths, can penetrate deeper into muscle, connective tissue, organs, and even bone, making it effective for treating pain, peripheral neuropathy, and other conditions.

Red light therapy addresses the underlying causes of many chronic conditions rather than just treating symptoms. There are four key mechanisms that red light therapy corrects: mitochondrial dysfunction, low collagen production, poor circulation, and chronic inflammation.

Reduced Inflammation

  • Systemic reduction of inflammation

  • Reduced Pain

  • Increases endorphins, natural pain-relieving chemicals

  • General pain relief benefits such as low back pain, tennis elbow, and shoulder pain

  • Relieves joint pain and treats conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

  • Reduces muscular spasms

    Promote Cellular Health

    • The most profound function of red light therapy is cellular health and reversed mitochondria dysfunction

    • Improved bone repair and bone growth

    Stimulate Hair Growth

Stimulates epithelial stem cells in the hair follicles, shifting them into the hair growth stage

    • Treats Alopecia

    • Strengthens hair with the production of collagen

    • Helps with hair loss

    Increased Reproductive Health

    • Treatment for erectile dysfunction

    • Accelerates healing of cold sores

    • Increased fertility and testosterone in men

    • Boosts sex drive

    Improved Circulation

    • Increases the diameter of blood vessels to improve circulation

    • Protects red blood cells from oxidative stress

    • Limits platelet loss during surgical procedures

Reduced Recovery Time

  • Stimulates stem cells that assist in muscle recovery

  • Generally accelerates healing including muscular, and wound

  • Reduces infections

  • Improved recovery/reduction of neurological damage from traumatic brain injury and moderate to severe stroke

  • Accelerated return to activity after sports injury

  • Aids in improved healing following plastic surgery

Improved Skin/ Nail Health

  • Reduces nail fungus

  • Increased collagen production

  • Promotes wound healing and reduces scarring with stem cells

  • Improves the appearance of hypertrophic scars

  • Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improves skin texture

  • Increases firmness and elasticity of skin

  • Resurfaces the outer layer of the skin Helps

    Neurological and Systemic Conditions

  • Improves ocular health

  • Improvement of psychiatric conditions including anxiety and depression

  • Helps treatments symptoms of Lyme disease

  • Relieves joint pain and treats conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

  • Helps neurodegenerative disorders including stroke, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer's disease.

  • Helps Autoimmune diseases

  • Accelerated recovery of spinal cord injuries

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient therapeutic practice that involves placing special cups on the skin to create suction. This technique is used for a variety of purposes, including:

  1. Pain Relief: Cupping can help alleviate muscle tension and promote tissue healing, making it an effective treatment for various types of pain, including back and neck pain, migraines, and rheumatic diseases.

  2. Improved Circulation: The suction from cupping can increase blood flow to the area, which can speed up healing and promote cell repair.

  3. Detoxification: By stimulating the flow of blood and lymphatic fluid, cupping can help the body remove toxins and waste products.

  4. Relaxation: Like other types of massage therapy, cupping can be very relaxing, helping to reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being.

  5. Skin Health: Cupping is often used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat skin conditions like acne and eczema. It's believed to do this by improving blood flow and removing toxins.

  6. Respiratory Health: Cupping has been used to treat a variety of respiratory conditions, including the common cold, pneumonia, and bronchitis.

Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy treatment involves wearing a specialized suit that inflates and deflates to apply controlled pressure to different parts of the body.

Here are some of the key uses and benefits of pressotherapy:

  1. Lymphatic Drainage: Pressotherapy stimulates the lymphatic system, helping to remove toxins and waste products from the body. This can reduce swelling and inflammation, and boost the immune system.

  2. Circulation Improvement: By applying gentle pressure, pressotherapy can enhance blood circulation, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and tissues. This can promote healing and recovery, and improve overall health.

  3. Cellulite Reduction: Pressotherapy can help to break down the fat deposits that cause cellulite, resulting in smoother, firmer skin.

  4. Muscle Recovery: Athletes often use pressotherapy to speed up muscle recovery after intense workouts. The increased blood flow can help to remove lactic acid and reduce muscle soreness.

  5. Relaxation: The gentle, rhythmic pressure of pressotherapy can be very relaxing, helping to reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being.

  6. Weight Management: Combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise, pressotherapy can support weight loss efforts by improving metabolism and aiding in the removal of waste products.

It's important to note that while pressotherapy can offer numerous benefits, it's not suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as deep vein thrombosis, acute inflammation, or cancer, should not undergo pressotherapy.

Lymphatic Massage

Lymphatic drainage massage stimulates the lymphatic system to remove waste, toxins, and excess fluid from the body. It supports the immune system and offers benefits such as reduced swelling, increased lymphocyte production, and deep relaxation. This gentle and rhythmic massage technique is used for post-surgical recovery, lymphedema, and immune system support.

Deep Tissue massage

Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic treatment that targets chronic muscle tension, injuries, and postural issues. It provides pain relief, improved mobility, and enhanced mental well-being. By focusing on the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues, it releases tension, breaks up scar tissue, and promotes faster healing.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a classic type of massage therapy that promotes relaxation and stress relief. It improves blood circulation, reduces muscle tension and stiffness, and increases immune system health. It offers physical and mental benefits, leaving clients feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and refreshed.

TMJ Massage

TMJ massage therapy focuses on relieving tension in the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) that connect the jawbone to the skull. It helps alleviate pain, reduce tension, improve jaw mobility, and restore normal function. This specialized treatment can be beneficial for individuals with TMJ disorders, jaw pain, headaches, or related issues.
